How to Claim Dunkin's September Freebies
- The Deal: Five separate Dunkin' freebies rolling out across late August and September — a Mini Tennis Can, a Pumpkin Spice Latte, 1 million espresso drinks, an L.L. Bean sweater sleeve, and a medium coffee.
- The Date: Aug 30 (Tennis Can), Sep 8 (free PSL), Sep 22 (1M free espressos + L.L. Bean sleeve), and Sep 29 (free medium coffee on National Coffee Day).
- The Platform: Most offers require the Dunkin' app with DunkinRun Rewards — sign in before ordering so the freebie applies at checkout.
- The Redemption: Open the Dunkin' app on the freebie day, add the qualifying item to your cart, and the free item drops in automatically. For the 1M espresso giveaway on Sep 22, watch the app for the promo code drop.
Fine Print & Level-Up Pro Tips
- Download the App First: Almost every September freebie runs through DunkinRun Rewards in the app — install it and sign in before Aug 30 so you're not scrambling at the counter.
- Set Calendar Reminders: These are single-day drops — miss Sep 8 or Sep 29 and the freebie is gone. Add reminders for 8/30, 9/8, 9/22, and 9/29 now.
- Go Early on Sep 22: The 1 million free espresso cap is generous but not unlimited — order first thing in the morning to lock it in before the daily allocation runs out.
- L.L. Bean Sleeve Is Physical: The free L.L. Bean sweater sleeve on Sep 22 is a limited physical giveaway at participating locations — call ahead or check the app for stock while supplies last.
- Watch for Promo Codes: The 1M espresso offer requires a promo code Dunkin' will announce closer to Sep 22 — check the app inbox and your email that morning.
- More Ways to Save: For the full month of freebies beyond Dunkin' — including McDonald's Free Fries every Friday all year, Red Lobster's Endless Shrimp return, and BOGO wing days — see our roundup of the best food deals and freebies this month.
